Monash Health Community (MHC) proudly supports individuals and communities to improve and maintain health, independence, and wellbeing.
Over the past few years, the Health Promotion Team has adopted a settings based approach informed by complex systems thinking. This approach reflects a shift towards steering innovative interventions into the settings where people live, learn, work and play. The team also work dynamically to grow and adapt their interventions in response to their constantly changing environment.
The capacity, leverage and reach of the Health Promotion Team are enhanced by collaborative partnerships with the City of Greater Dandenong, Cardinia Shire Council and the City of Casey. By working together, efforts are strategically aligned, reach across the community is maximised, and long term sustainability is strengthened. Together, these organisations are creating a unified, regional workforce.
The team have recently released their Integrated Health Promotion report as a way of sharing their approach with their stakeholders and the sector. You can access it online here.
If you would like to discuss the report please contact Monash Health.
