Responding to the need to support the health and wellbeing of our communities during the pandemic, VicHealth have created a Health Promotion Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resource Hub combining resources from VicHealth and other health promotion organisations that can be used to inform your audiences about coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Health Promotion Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resource Hub provides free resources for health promotion organisations and practitioners to use to communicate with their audiences during coronavirus covering; information about coronavirus, physical activity, healthy eating, mental wellbeing, alcohol harm reduction, tobacco prevention, resources for community health and the prevention of family violence during the coronavirus pandemic.
The hub also provides resources for workplaces, for organisations to use to build and protect staff wellbeing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Since its inception, the hub has attracted over 7,000 visits, with users showing keen interest in information about health promotion, improving workplace wellbeing, and physical activity during coronavirus.

- Diabetes Victoria and the department have developed an alternative online delivery option for the group courses offered through the Life! – Helping you prevent diabetes, heart disease and stroke program. The new online group courses commenced in early May and telephone health coaching as part of the Life! program remains available.
- The Victorian Healthy Eating Enterprise and Victorian Active Living Alliance will proceed in 2020 and provide a mechanism for funded agency and the sector to remain connected.
