We are calling on all local councils, schools, community organisations and health services to take the lead, register workplace teams and encourage the rest of Victoria to follow suit and improve their health and well-being.
Premier’s Active April encourages Victorians of all ages and abilities to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April to improve their health and well-being.
Now in its tenth year, Premier’s Active April has increased from 28,000 participants to over 112,500 participants. All Victorians are encouraged to get on board and register to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April.
With more than 50 per cent of Victorian adults failing to meet the recommended levels of physical activity and 80 per cent of children not exercising enough Premier’s Active April is a great place to start – and getting involved is free and simple.
There are lots of offers available to help individuals, families, schools and workplaces to get involved and achieve their goals and you will also go into the draw for some great prizes.
Visit Active April to register and find information on offers and prizes available in your area. You can also find resources to help promote Active April in your school or workplace.
