For those eager to see the technical details behind the Victorian public health and wellbeing outcomes framework, the wait is over!
The Victorian public health and wellbeing outcomes framework data dictionary is now available.
For every measure in the outcomes framework, the data dictionary provides:
- the rationale for inclusion
- a definition of the measure (including numerator, denominator and mode of reporting)
- data source(s) and availability (including baseline year)
- data breakdowns that are available from each data source
- comparability with other state, national or international data
- links to other measures in the outcomes framework
- and any further information (where relevant).
This is not necessarily a document for everyone, but those of a technical bent will likely find it interesting and informative.
The data dictionary will be reviewed regularly to include new and anticipated measures, and to replace measures if data availability changes.
