Adopting a healthier lifestyle can lead to valuable health and wellbeing benefits.
Premier’s Active April encourages all Victorians to do 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April to help set in place healthier lifestyle patterns in-that month and beyond.
Schools and workplaces play an important role in shaping the health and wellbeing of Victorians. Recognising this, the campaign encourages these settings to sign up teams and compete for a range of prizes.
Last year saw nearly 11,000 teams join and motivate each other to stay active.
This year participants will benefit from a new mobile app that records their physical activity, and the time they spend exercising; and allows groups to track and compare their progress.
